I love how you've colored this flower and I love this set. Can you make a correction on the illustrator's name -- it's Melanie Muenchinger who created this terrific set for us!
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely card!
ReplyDeleteLove those colors for this type of theme... and I like the way you have left the open white space around the flower and offset it on the card...this makes it really interesting. I tend to do symmetrical compositions...guess it's my nature....but I need to "think outside of the box"..LOL like you Cathy
ReplyDeleteHey Cathy, Re. layouts....Nobody is ever exact...it's more of an interpretation. In my first challenge card, there was a semi-circle and I used a bird cage as that element. You basically can do whatever you want...If I was going too far out with something...I would just explain my interpretation in the challenge blog post...
ReplyDeletewell said Micki! same here..
ReplyDeletelove your card Cathy...and the stamp you chose (I am proud to say that I have guest designed for Melanie - her sets are fabulous!! and I cant wait to see what her new release will be next week)...your colors and papers are perfect!
btw, I now have you on my DIVA blog list! sorry it took me so long Welcome aboard!
I love all the bright colors!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Love that flower image. The paper you used set it off very nicely.
