Toad Love

Good Tuesday Morning! How are you all? Hope everyone had a good weekend! I taught a Beginner Copic Class at the LSS and it was really good, I think! It's always fun to see everyone come into the class not knowing where to begin and at the end of the class, they all leave saying they "now get it"and can't wait to go home and practice! Very rewarding!

Birthday Wishes!

Happy Wednesday and Happy Birthday to my granddaughter Halsey who turns 5 today! She's growing so fast and I don't want to miss a minute of it! :-) She may have something to say about that as she gets older, but for now, she loves having me around!

Today's card is the second one I made for my the Intermediate Copic Class that I taught last week. I'm giving it to Halsey. After I started coloring Tilda, I realized she had candy canes in her hand and pocket---I was too far in at that point so she "musta gotten them on sale after Christmas!!!" LOL!

Card Recipe:

  • Stamp: Magnolia Tilda with Present

  • Paper: DP: S*E*I Happy Day, CS: Bazzill

  • Ribbon: American Crafts

  • Stickles: Stardust

  • Copic Markers: R00, E00, YR00, RV10, RV23, E11, E1, E35, E37, C5, C7, 100, B12, BG05, YG03, YG63

Hope you all have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by!

I'm Back---I think!!!

Bear and Bailey

Good Tuesday morning fellow stampers!
First of all I'd like to thank you all for being patient with me for such a long time! First before and during my son's wedding and then the week after during our adored 5 year old Yorkie Bama's injury, surgery and so sadly, his death. The surgery went well, but the next day, he got pneumonia and was never able to recover due to his paralysis. On that 3rd day, we made the painful decision to let him go---he did not deserve to suffer anymore. Needless to say we are both heartbroken---he was such an joyful addition to our lives and will never be replaced! BUT in our grief, we lost our minds and got two (that's right not one, but two) 8 week old Yorkie puppies!!! :-). They are brother and sister and we named them "Bear" (from Bama's name you might have guessed DH is an Alabama graduate) and this name is after Bear Bryant, a famous, loved Ala. coach and Bailey---cause it starts with a "B". LOL! They are so cute and weigh 2 # each. Thus far they've been pretty easy. I'm trying to paper train them so if anyone has any good advice, please let me know!
I'm starting to get some creative juices flowing again and actually taught an intermediate Copic class last week and today's and Wednesday's cards are what I did for the class.
Card Recipe:

Stamp: Magnolia Tilda with Flowers

Paper: DP:BasicGrey "Green at Heart", CS: Bazzill

Ribbon: Michael's

Stickles: Stardust

Have a great day everyone and see you tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by today!

Wedding Day!

Grandson Mark (16 months) Ring Bearer

Bride and Groom---Allison and Todd (my son)

Granddaughter Halsey (almost 5), Grandson Bryce (3), Allison and Todd, oldest son and Best Man---Bill

It was a beautiful day (VERY HOT and HUMID) and the wedding went off without a hitch! All the prep work truly paid off! The bride was breath taking (as you can see :-) !!!)
They are now in Hawaii enjoying and hopefully resting!
Please keep my 5 yr. old Yorkie "Bama" in your prayers---he has always had some disc problems in his neck, but Monday nite he could not stand and was paralized from the neck down. He had emergent neurosurgery Tuesday afternoon at University of Florida Small Animal Hospital but is still not able to stand. They tell me that is ok cause it may take awhile and they give him a 70% chance of walking again. It tears my heart out to see him like this---they become a part of your family!
Thanks for stopping by today!
God Bless!
