Mine was a little busy getting ready for two upcoming Copic classes I'm teaching at my LSS and also a little bit of fun stamping for myself, That always makes for a good day! Thank Heaven For Little Girls

It's already Friday and I'm looking forward to the weekend! How bout you?

Today's card is very special to me because it's for my son, my daughter-in-law and my newest granddaughter to be---Elle. She will be born in the next few weeks and I cannot wait to meet her, hold her and kiss her! The only bad part is that they live in WVa and I don't get to see them as often as I'd like. Thank God for Skype! I will be flying up there as soon as they call and I can't wait!

School Days

It's so hard to believe, but kids in my area are headed back to school today. Where did the summer go? Even harder to believe is that my precious little granddaughter is starting kindergarten today!!!! How can she possibly be that old already??? It was just yesterday that she was born, it seems. Kinda bitter-sweet...

Anyhow, I made gift bags (on right) for my granddaughter and grandson (he's going to pre-school as well) to give to their teachers and assistants with four cards in each bag . (That's 16 cards!!! A true labor of LOVE!!!) It took awhile, but was truly fun.

I'm not giving any card recipes for this project---it would make this post way too long and you'd get VERY bored I'm afraid! LOL!

I hope the teachers enjoy their little "Gift of Love" and enjoy sending these cards.

Thanks for coming by today and PLEASE drive safely when your schools start so no little ones get hurt!

I know it sounds really crazy what with this amazingly hot summer we're having here in Florida and all over the country, but I'm thinking FALL! Do you think maybe it's the hope of some cooler weather??? LOL! Do you love Edwin as much as I do??? I think he's adorable! Probably because I have a 3 yr. old and 21 month old grandsons that are "to die for" and another baby boy due Feb. 1st 2011. there is just something special about little boys!

Happy Wednesday! Hope everyone's week is going really well so far! I've been busy monogramming some things for Christmas presents and working on some cards. This one is for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge # 81. As soon as I saw it, I was intrigued with the circles down the side---it was supposed to have four, but as you can see, I ran out of room. I always love the color combo of lime green and pink/coral so this card just took on a life of it's own! LOL!

Happy Monday Morning! Hope you all have had a great summer! It's hard to believe that it's almost September and several schools have already started back! Where does the time go???
I'm going to make a real effort to post three times a week! I know alot of people post every day and I did for awhile, but I have fallen behind so much this summer and then I feel guilty, yada, yada, yada. So we'll see how it goes! LOL!
I made today's card this weekend for three challenges---I like to combine them---it works well for me! They are Speedy The Cat's Friend Challenge # 16 ---using flowers; Curtain Call Color Challenge Act 43; and Kraftin Kimmie's Challenge # 41 using "Bling, Scallops and Buttons". Hopefully I got all that in!
