TGIF! It's Friday---the weekend is almost here! We wish our lives away waiting for the weekends to get here, don't we?
Today my card is a flower one from a beautiful set from GinaK- "A year of flowers" by Melanie Muenchinger---doesn't she do BEAUTIFUL work?

  1. I love how you've colored this flower and I love this set. Can you make a correction on the illustrator's name -- it's Melanie Muenchinger who created this terrific set for us!

  2. Love those colors for this type of theme... and I like the way you have left the open white space around the flower and offset it on the card...this makes it really interesting. I tend to do symmetrical compositions...guess it's my nature....but I need to "think outside of the box"..LOL like you Cathy

  3. Hey Cathy, Re. layouts....Nobody is ever exact...it's more of an interpretation. In my first challenge card, there was a semi-circle and I used a bird cage as that element. You basically can do whatever you want...If I was going too far out with something...I would just explain my interpretation in the challenge blog post...
