Hi everyone! Just wanted to post today to say that I'm so crazy busy right now and just haven't had time to be creative!
As I've said before, my 2nd son Todd is getting married May 1st and his fiance' Allison, her Mom, her sister and I are making almost EVERYTHING (invitations, all decorations, favors, etc,) so we are feeling the crunch! 5 weeks to go and still lots of loose ends... We were up till midnight last night making corsages and boutiniers---all fun stuff, but still busy!
So if I'm not around very much in the near future, please understand and know I'll be back soon!

Wildflowers

Good Morning! Did you all have a good Monday? I went to Lacanto, FL (about and hour away) to meet two fellow StampTV friends, Lisa and Jean to visit a stamping store there and then had lunch together. It was lots of fun and always gets the "creative juices" flowing!

Todays card is a super easy one with not alot of embellishments. These are fun to make sometimes rather than all the layers, ribbons and other frills!

Baby Boy Blessings

Good Monday Morning everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! I'm sorry I haven't been around as much lately but life has been crazy---I'm sure you all can relate!
As far as the weekend, mine was really good! I taught my first Copic Class at my local stamping store Priceless Scrapbooks and More. It went really well and I think everyone there got their
" appetites wet" for everything Copic! LOL---they don't know what they are in for!!! Stamping will never be the same! I hope to teach at least one class a month there. But I forgot to take any pictures!!! Oh well... I also went to IKEA in Orlando and got all the parts and pieces for redoing my craft room! I'm so excited! They have the best stuff, a huge variety, and great prices! Now to take down the old and put all the new together! Pictures of the demolition to follow!
My card today is one I made last year for my beautiful 15 month old grandson Mark's Baptism. There is no better reason to make a card!

Today I'm posting a "feel good" card I made awhile back after seeing Gina on Stamptv emboss paper flowers. I thought that was such a cute idea (as all her ideas are!) so I tried it and really liked it. Hope you do too!

Happy Thursday to everyone! Don't know about you, but I'm so busy these days that I can hardly think! Then I go to bed at night and can't "turn it off" and I'm awake till 3:20am!!! Purple Hydrangeas

Good Monday morning! Hope all is well in your world and that you all had a great weekend.Thank you all for being patient with me last week when I went to Savannah for the Neonatal/Perinatal conference. I just did not have time to post! Savannah was great (and pretty cold!)

Today is a new day and my card is a purple hydrangea which is significant to me because my #2 son is getting married May 1st and the decorations are purple hydrangeas. Purple is such a beautiful color and I've always loved it even when it was not fashionable unless you were an "older" woman---I guess I am an "older" woman, uh? LOL

A "Hoot" of a Friend

Happy Monday morning! How was everyone's weekend? What a busy one I've had!
Somewhat unexpectately, we had to go to my husband's hometown in Mississippi to attend his step-brother's funeral. Very sad time. But I will say the funeral was one of the most positive and uplifting ones that I've been to! We had to fly out at 6:30 am Saturday morning and got back Sunday evening. I think I'm getting too old for all this!!! LOL!
Today's card is a cute owl that I just loved when I saw it in the stamping store---just had to have! You know how that is, I'm sure! I used Stickles on each of his feathers which really sparkles, but is hard to see well in the photo. I will use him again an again I'm sure!
