Let It Snow

Merry Christmas Eve!
What a glorious time of the year! Abeit crazy busy, it's still wonderful! Hopefully by now, we are all mostly done with all the "THINGS" that have to be done and we can reflect on Jesus' birth. My family and I are going to the children's service at our church later this afternoon and then to my son's home for Christmas Eve dinner. Christmas Day we'll be going to my daughter's home to watch the grandkids open presents---I can't imagine anything better than to be with family right now! Hope whatever you are doing, I pray you are warm, happy and healthy this Christmas season!
Today I have a card (one of two) that I submitted to Heartfelt Creations sometime back for consideration for their Design Team. Althought I did not make the team, I enjoyed working with their stamps and dies. I don't think this card shows up very well in the photograph, but it's very sparkly and "snowy" in reality.

ADFD "Wrapping" Up The Tree

Happy Friday! Today I'm actually in New York City with several members of my family celebrating my 60th birthday! I have always hated these "milestone" birthdays but this one I am actually excited about and I've been celebrating since last Sat. nite with a little family dinner at my daughter's house, and Sunday nite, we went to Disney's Mickey's Christmas Party with my two Florida grandchildren---what a wonderful thing to "see" Disney thur the eyes of a child!!!
Anyhoo, today I have a card for A Day For Daisies challenge #7 "Using Wrapping Paper". I took a few liberties with that theme and named mine "Wrapping Up The Tree". Jump on over to the site and play along and also every Friday, Tammy releases new digital images and gives a good discount on that first day.

Pretty In Pink

Hi Fellow Stampers! How is everyone doing this week? As usual, I'm crazy busy but all good stuff!
My husband and kids gave me a great birthday party/dinner Sat. nite. It was soooo fun. Only family (which is the way I wanted it) and my daughter did a great job of putting it all together. This is a BIG one (60), so she put a video together of tons of family and friends pics and my 5 yr. old granddaughter's pictures set to great music. It was so sentimental! I'll cherish it forever!!
But it's not really my birthday yet---it's Thursday Dec. 2nd but my daughter and I are going to NYC Wed. thur Sat. to celebrate (hey it's pretty nice turning 60---lots of great things happen!) and then my husband is flying up and he and I are staying till Wed. the 8th. Soooo I have lots to do to get ready in this already crazy, busy season!
My card today is a pink snowman---I love to do non-traditional colors at Christmas. I think he is so darn cute!

Card Recipe
Stamps: Stanpendous and Penny Black
Papers: CS-Bazzill, DP-Unknown
Ink: memento Tuxedo Black
Ribbon: May Arts
Glitter: Stickles Stardust
Bling: K and Company
Border Punch: Martha Stewart
Copics:RV21, RV06, RV04, YG00, YG03, YG23, Spica Glitter Pen in Gold

A Day For Daisies Christmas Mom and Babe

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Mine was great, but different---all my kids had other plans so it was just DH and me. We finished up the Christmas decorations, went to the movies to see "Unstoppable" with Densel Washington (fantastic!!!) and then came home to a quiet Thanksgiving dinner. It has actually been VERY nice.
I DID NOT get up at 3am to go shopping today!!! I would rather eat worms than to get out there that early with all those crowds and fight over bargains-never, never, never!
Today I have a sweet card for A Day For Daisies to help introduce Tammy's newest Friday images. Isn'tthis just the cutest image??? Go there and see all the new (and oldies but goodies) that Tammy has to offer---what a great artist she is!
