Happy Bird-day

Good Monday morning. I'm hoping you all had a great weekend. Mine was a little busy getting ready for two upcoming Copic classes I'm teaching at my LSS and also a little bit of fun stamping for myself, That always makes for a good day! Speaking of fun, today's card just says fun I think. I love all the bold colors and this little birdie just makes me smile. Hope you feel the same!

School Days

It's so hard to believe, but kids in my area are headed back to school today. Where did the summer go? Even harder to believe is that my precious little granddaughter is starting kindergarten today!!!! How can she possibly be that old already??? It was just yesterday that she was born, it seems. Kinda bitter-sweet...

Anyhow, I made gift bags (on right) for my granddaughter and grandson (he's going to pre-school as well) to give to their teachers and assistants with four cards in each bag . (That's 16 cards!!! A true labor of LOVE!!!) It took awhile, but was truly fun.

I'm not giving any card recipes for this project---it would make this post way too long and you'd get VERY bored I'm afraid! LOL!

I hope the teachers enjoy their little "Gift of Love" and enjoy sending these cards.

Thanks for coming by today and PLEASE drive safely when your schools start so no little ones get hurt!

Happy Wednesday! Hope everyone's week is going really well so far! I've been busy monogramming some things for Christmas presents and working on some cards. This one is for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge # 81. As soon as I saw it, I was intrigued with the circles down the side---it was supposed to have four, but as you can see, I ran out of room. I always love the color combo of lime green and pink/coral so this card just took on a life of it's own! LOL!

Birthday Wishes!

Happy Wednesday and Happy Birthday to my granddaughter Halsey who turns 5 today! She's growing so fast and I don't want to miss a minute of it! :-) She may have something to say about that as she gets older, but for now, she loves having me around!

Today's card is the second one I made for my the Intermediate Copic Class that I taught last week. I'm giving it to Halsey. After I started coloring Tilda, I realized she had candy canes in her hand and pocket---I was too far in at that point so she "musta gotten them on sale after Christmas!!!" LOL!

Daisy Birthday Wishes

Happy Thursday! I don't know about you, but I'm ready for Spring! I'm tired of cold weather!Today's card is a bright, sunny fun birthday card. By now I'm sure you can tell that I really like warm weather and color and this one speaks color and spring loudly!
